Colleen Bates

This is Colleen's second year with CBAC.  Colleen is currently a ‘Stay-at-home' mom of two active boys ages 3 & 5.   She says it's the best ‘job' to date…not only does she get to be a kid again and play, play, play but she gets to try her hand as a teacher, chef (i.e. gourmet spagettios), child development specialist (ie. potty training), chaueffer, interior decorator, nurse, cleaning lady & of course accountant – who new her old career at Merrill Lynch could payoff at home!   For now, she enjoys it all and gets some free time in the evenings to ‘coach' swimming, one of her favorite past-times.  Colleen also enjoys Pilates (yoga), reading, jogging, skiing, scrapbooking and being outdoors.  Colleen graduated from Univ. of Delaware & attended Rutgers Graduate School thereafter.  She has been swimming and/or coaching most of her life.  She began lifeguarding at age 14, coaching swimming at 17 & both coached and managed a summer pool throughout college.  After college she worked in the field of Legal Benefits for ten years before becoming a stay-at-home mom!  You may have seen Colleen with us before as she helped out with swim clinics a few years ago.

Meg Gansz

Meg started coaching for CBAC in 1998.  After the birth of her daughter in 2000 she stayed with CBAC on a part time basis helping out with both swimming and diving.  After the birth of her 2 nd daughter in 2002, she helped out when needed and is back for yet another year.  Meg started swimming competitively when she was 5; summers for Somerton Springs and winters for Neshaminy – SAL.  She continued to swim for her High School where she was captain for 2 years and placed in the top 3 for Districts in both backstroke and freestyle.  Her swimming career continued in college at Kutztown University where she made it to States for 2 years in Freestyle.  Meg works full time in the Pharmaceutical Research and Development industry and enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends.  She hopes to one day be a stay at home Mom and have the opportunity to play a more active role for CBAC and get back into the competitive swimming herself.

April Hepler

This is April's second year with CBAC.  She has been swimming since the age of 7.  April is from a small town near Erie, Pa where she swam for her high school and also attended the District and State meets,  She was captain of her high school team and also taught swim lessons while in high school.  April continued to swim masters until she could no longer fit it into her busy schedule.  April is a mother of two girls and works part time at M & T bank as a regional operations coordinator.  Some of you might know April's husband who is a 7th grade English teacher at Holicong as well as a football and basketball coach at Holicong.

Kim McGlone

This is Kim's first season with CBAC.   Kim swam competitively for 13 years.  She is a three year varsity letter winner for the University of Notre Dame Fightin' Irish swim team.     S he   is also a member of the Notre Dame Monogram Club.    When not coaching, Kim is an at home mom to daughters Maggie (4) and Keely (3) and son Max (1).  A CPA, Kim is enjoying her time at home with her children after working for eleven years in various accounting positions.
